Hole Ten - Par 4/5

Now here is the hole which tempts those big hitters. As you look down the fairway, you see welcoming fairway width to woo you. There are pine trees down the rough on the right and several mounds on the left which may kick your shot back onto the fairway. A feeble tee shot forces a lay up with your second. Why? Because you have to carry a creek 60 metres from the green. One of the most rewarding holes on the course for everything done right. No argument here that it is a short par 5 off the yellow and red tees (easy!!) but oh such a testing par 4 from the whites and blues. AND we haven't even factored in to these notes the extra length if a Cook Strait southerly is blowing. The prevailing northerly wind can give you a sense of (over) confidence.

Tees: Blue 393m | White 377m | Red 362m | Yellow 362m

Stroke: Blue 5 | White 5 | Red 5 | Yellow 5
