Next year with more promotion and notice, we trust this Club Trophy event will be better represented by our members.

MASTERS COMPETITION

This was rained off on Sunday 29th due to inclement weather. These matches are re-scheduled for 12th September.

COMING UP - THIS WEEKEND

We have the first and second round of matches for the Club Championships, this Sunday. Good luck to all in your matches. Please check your tee off times. Juniors are off from 7:42am, Intermediates from 8:14am and Seniors 8:46am.

HOLE IN ONE

Congratulations to Jim Hooper for his second hole in one this year. Jim acheived his ace on the 17th hole this Sunday just past, during his Cooper Cup round. His previous hole in one was on the par 4, fourth hole. This is quite an acheivement. A long time member has confirmed that, 2 holes in one, on par 4 holes has never been completed at Wainuiomata, during the same calender year. Well done Jim.  I suggest their may be a special prize for you this presentation day.

SAD NEWS

It is with some regret that I must advise the passing of Life Member Mr Tam King. Tam was President of our Club during 1977/78 and has been living in Rotorua for some years since moving up from Paraparaumu. A card from the Club will be sent to Peg, Tam's wife. Any other personal messages of condolence from members may be sent  c/- PO Box 926, Rotorua.
